“Illusions on porcelain”
Velimir Vukičević was born and lives in Belgrade, Serbia.
He is a professor of sculpture in the ceramics department at the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade, where he completed undergraduate and postgraduate studies.
He exhibited worldwide and is represented in major public collections such as the Museum of Applied Arts in Belgrade, the Museum of Kanazawa city , Japan, the Museum of Ceramics in Faenza, Italy, the Museum of Carouge, Switzerland, the Museum of Ceramics in Bechyne, Czech Republic, Seto City Art Museum, Japan, Mino Park, Japan, Taipei Country Yingge Museum, Taiwan, in the WOCEF collection, Korea.
He has received numerous awards and recognitions.
He is a member of the Serbian Artists Association, Kerameikon honorary member, Croatia and of the International Academy of Ceramics.
The course will focus on porcelain pieces shaping and “trompe-l’oeil”decoration with very specific materials.
