The piece will be judged on several criteria:

– originality
– aesthetic
– functionality

The jury for the awards will be selected from the Contemporary Art actors  (artists – critics – art historians – gallerists …) but also in the institutional environment.

An exhibition will be held in the C k’OMSA  gallery  in July and August, which will allow the public to vote.

An opening is scheduled at the beginning of the exhibition and the awards ceremony, in September.

AWARDS

–        1st prize : 500 € +  a one-month residency + the possibility to lead a paid Masterclass workshop +  a solo exhibition (1 month) in 2014

–        2nd prize: 350 € + a one-month residency + a solo exhibition (1 month) in 2014

–        3rd prize: 250 € + 1 solo exhibition (1 month) + a Masterclass workshop to choose in the   2014 program.

–         Special “Public”: a Masterclass workshop to choose in the 2014 program.

–         Special “students”: a Masterclass workshop to choose in the   2014 program.

A book about the exhibition and the participating artists will be published.
